I talk a lot about how boring our Sun is, but is special in one way: it's alone. Astronomers estimate that as many as 80% of stars exist in multiple systems, meaning they're gravitationally bound to at least one other star. The most common of these multiple star systems are called binaries, because they have two stars.

I am having fun! Especially when people leave comments and ask questions :)
Single star systems are definitely less complicated than multiple star systems, but planets can definitely have stable orbits and be habitable in these multiple star systems, too.
how do single star solar systems compare with binaries/tricycles in terms of long term stability, potential to support life, etc.? Also major props for keeping this up I'm having fun I hope you are too :)
